WILLOWOOD ESTATE, WASHINGTON
BRANDON GREEN

THE BRIEF
Willowood Washington is an historic 1835 estate in the Antietam Valley, now being transformed into a luxury retreat.
With parts of the property still under construction, the estate team needed a way to see the finished vision early, and to communicate that vision with guests, partners, and clients before opening.
Relying on traditional plans and static imagery posed limitations, as these methods could not accurately convey guest experiences or the intended atmosphere of the estate.
The Willowood team approached TIC and sought a solution that would:
-
Provide an accurate preview of the completed spaces during the build phase.
-
Serve as a marketing tool to showcase the estate
-
Attract prospective clients and partners early

THE PROCESS
To address these requirements, we developed a highly detailed digital twin of the Willowood estate, built from architectural references, site data, and design intent. This model incorporated both exterior and interior elements to ensure accuracy across the full guest journey.
Alongside the digital twin, we produced a cinematic visualisation designed for presentation and marketing purposes. This combined realism with narrative flow, allowing the estate to be showcased as a finished, operational venue.
The dual deliverables provided the Willowood team with:
-
A functional planning tool capable of supporting design and operational decisions.
-
An immersive marketing asset suitable for use across client presentations, digital platforms, and partner engagement.

THE END RESULT
The digital outputs enabled Willowood Washington to begin operation with the advantages of a completed venue well before construction was finalised. The estate team could demonstrate the finished guest experience to prospective clients, and partners, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
The cinematic render provided a compelling marketing asset that elevated the estate’s brand presence and supported early engagement activities. Simultaneously, the digital twin served as a practical tool for refining layouts, operational planning, and decision making during the build phase.
Together, these assets established Willowood Washington as an accessible and market ready venue in advance of physical completion, reducing uncertainty and accelerating both commercial and operational readiness.
