PROJECT MANAGER  - DIGITAL EVENT PRE-PRODUCTION

Job Title: Project Manager - Digital Event Pre-Production

Job Type: Contract/Freelance

Supervisor/Manager: Co-Founders

Location: Remote (Ideally based in Australia, but must be available to work flexible hours in US Time zones)

Hours of Work: 40hrs per week - US time zones

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee our digital event pre-production projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong organisational skills, technical confidence, and a proven ability to manage remote teams across multiple time zones. You’ll play a key role in coordinating the delivery of complex outdoor event projects, helping ensure our pre-visualisation work is accurate, on time, within budget, and beautifully executed.

What You'll Do: 

  • Lead the delivery of multiple pre-production projects, ensuring deadlines, scope, and quality benchmarks are met

  • Interpret and manage detailed event designs and layouts within Vectorworks

  • Coordinate remote teams of drafters, modellers, and design collaborators

  • Act as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and timely updates

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align creative and technical deliverables

  • Maintain project timelines, task management, and reporting across multiple software tools

  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring cost effectiveness and financial accountability

  • Proactively identify risks or blockers and implement creative solutions

  • Ensure all deliverables adhere to safety, accessibility, and spatial planning standards

 

What You'll Bring: 

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within the events, live entertainment, or exhibitions space

  • Advanced working knowledge of Vectorworks (certification is a bonus)

  • Strong understanding of technical drawings, site layouts, and event infrastructure

  • Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams and coordinate global workflows

  • Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder liaison skills

  • Familiarity with digital twins, 3D modelling pipelines, and visualisation workflows is highly desirable

  • Experience with software tools like Monday.com is a plus

  • Ability to work comfortably across US time zones as required is essential

Desirable Extras:

  • Experience with Unreal Engine, Unity, or NVIDIA Omniverse

  • Background in event production, scenic design, or creative technology

  • Exposure to complementary tools like Revit, Rhino, or SketchUp
