THE BRIEF
Provide a comprehensive tool for immersive pre event visualisation and seamless logistical planning.
Select Event Group (SEG) engaged The Imagination Collaborative to elevate the experience of the LIV Golf Nashville tournament at The Grove. With a vision to validate on site build sight lines, SEG tasked us with creating a digital twin of the golf course event location and overlaying their event structures onto it.
THE PROCESS
Leveraging advanced drone technology, the team at The Imagination Collaborative conducted precise aerial surveys of the golf course, capturing detailed topographical data. Using advanced CAD modelling and digital terrain modelling techniques, the golf course, complete with integrated event structures, was then created in a highly accurate and immersive digital twin environment.
The digital twin was showcased in a user friendly interface that allowed LIV Golf to explore viewing angles and the impact of the structures on sight lines within the course layout, removing requirement for on site changes which resulted in time and cost savings for the client.
This partnership with Select Event Group is another example of The Imagination Collaborative delivering innovative solutions that enhance event experiences and streamline logistical planning.
